In the highly evolving field of surgery, Dr. Tadros has pioneered the concept of
Aesthetic Facial Surgery, a movement to bridge the gap between Form and Function. 

Aesthetic Facial Surgery is a relatively simple philosophy that may sound naturally intuitive,
but from a practical standpoint has not been part of the culture of medicine. 

“Since the beginning, surgery for medical conditions has remained separate from plastic surgery.   On the one hand, many patients with surgical conditions fear disfigurement and may even feel guilty for being concerned about deformity. 
On the other hand, patients seeking plastic surgery fear compromise of function
for beauty.  No where in the body is this concept more real and more impactful
than in the Face, central to our identity and our senses.” 

The birth of Aesthetic Facial Surgery came naturally to Dr. Tadros who was fully trained
as both a head and neck surgeon and a facial plastic surgeon, allowing her to subspecialize in
only the face. 

“It is our responsibility as physicians and surgeons to recognize that underlying medical problems and concern for our outward appearance are both important to
our patients.   For example, so many of my patients seeking rhinoplasty (a change
in Form)  have underlying breathing and sinus troubles (also needing a change in Function).  Similarly, patients with masses in the head and neck are comforted that
an aesthetic approach will treat the condition and camouflage the scar.”
